Governor Summer Merit Program: Designing Robots for a Better World
Become a Governor Summer Merit Robotic Participant. This camp will take a hands on approach to science, technology, engineering and mathematics utilizing LEGO EV-3 Mindstorm robotic kits and sensors. Students that join this week long camp will be introduced to building a robot, applying sensors and programming while simultaneously learning the practical STEM application.
Every day and everywhere we take advantage of robotics and sensors. Become a part of this, challenge yourself and develop the understanding, appreciation and enthusiasm for robotics, engineering. Learn about how robotics and sensors are used in industry such as manufacturing, environmental engineering and electronics. The possibilities are endless, robotics can make the world better, come be a part of the future, your future in science, technology, engineering in math.
The camp is for middle school and high school students ages 14-21. An application must be submitted and will be reviewed. Students will be notified if they have been accepted into the camp.
About 9 – 12 CAMPS
We offer days camps. For grades 3 and above these are full day camps that run from about 9am to 4pm each day. All camps are Monday through Friday.
All iTEC camp programs share the common theme of hands-on exploration conducted in a fun and educational environment. They are designed to stimulate curiosity and excitement in the interesting fields of science, technology, engineering and math (S.T.E.M.).
HOW TO REGISTER:
